शूद्रयॊनौ हि जातस्य सवगुणान उपतिष्ठतः वैश्यत्वं भवति बरह्मन कषत्रियत्वं तथैव च ॥ ३-२०३-११ ॥
'O Brahmana, even one born in the Sudra caste, if endowed with noble qualities, may attain the status of a Vaisya, and with further refinement, that of a Kshatriya.' ॥ 3-203-11 ॥
