इन्द्रियैः सृज्यते यद यत तत तद वयक्तम इति समृतम अव्यक्तम इति विज्ञेयं लिङ्गग्राह्यम अतीन्द्रियम ॥ ३-२०२-११ ॥
'Whatever is perceptible through the senses is known as vyakta (manifest or comprehensible), while that which lies beyond the reach of the senses and can only be inferred is called avyakta (unmanifest).' ॥ 3-202-11 ॥
