[बरा] कथं संभवते यॊनौ कथं वा पुण्यपापयॊः जातीः पुण्या हय अपुण्याश च कथं गच्छति सत्तम ॥ ३-२००-२९ ॥
'The Brahmana inquired, "Why does the spirit take birth, and why does its birth become either sinful or virtuous? How, O good man, does it come to belong to a sinful or virtuous lineage?"' ॥ 3-200-29 ॥
