बरह्मचारी च वेदान्यॊ अधीयीत दविजॊत्तमः सवाख्याये चाप्रमत्तॊ वै तं देवा बराह्मणं विदुः ॥ ३-१९७-३६ ॥

'The gods recognize him as a supreme Brahmana, endowed with generosity of spirit, who diligently observes the vow of Brahmacharya and is wholly dedicated to the study of the Vedas, ever vigilant in his learning.' ॥ 3-197-36 ॥

english translation

barahmacArI ca vedAnyò adhIyIta davijòttamaH savAkhyAye cApramattò vai taM devA barAhmaNaM viduH ॥ 3-197-36 ॥
