अथ मण्डूकवधे घॊरे करियमाणे दिक्षु सर्वासु मण्डूकान भयम आविशत ते भीता मण्डूकराज्ञे यथावृत्तं नयवेदयन ॥ ३-१९०-३१ ॥
'As the terrible slaughter of frogs began in all directions, fear gripped the frogs. Frightened, they approached their king and informed him of the situation.' ॥ 3-190-31 ॥
