मा च ते ऽतर विचारॊ भूद यन मयॊक्तं तवानघ अतिशङ्क्य वचॊ हय एतद धर्मलॊपॊ भवेत तव ॥ ३-१८९-२६ ॥
'O sinless one, let not doubt arise in your mind regarding the truth of what I have spoken. For if you allow doubt to enter your heart, your virtue will surely diminish.' ॥ 3-189-26 ॥
english translation
जातासि परथिते वंशे कुरूणां भरतर्षभ कर्मणा मनसा वाचा सर्वम एतत समाचर ॥ ३-१८९-२७ ॥
'O bull of the Bharata lineage, you are born into the illustrious family of the Kurus. You should practice that which I have instructed you, through your thoughts, words, and actions.' ॥ 3-189-27 ॥
english translation
[य] यत तवयॊक्तं दविजश्रेष्ठ वाक्यं शरुतिमनॊहरम तथा करिष्ये यत्नेन भवतः शासनं विभॊ ॥ ३-१८९-२८ ॥
'Yudhishthira replied, "O foremost of the Brahmanas, at your command, I will surely act according to all the instructions you have given me, which are so delightful to hear."' ॥ 3-189-28 ॥
english translation
न मे लॊभॊ ऽसति विप्रेन्द्र न भयं न च मत्सरः करिष्यामि हि तत सर्वम उक्तं यत ते मयि परभॊ ॥ ३-१८९-२९ ॥
'O noble one, I am free from avarice, lust, fear, pride, and vanity. Therefore, O Lord, I will follow all that you have instructed.' ॥ 3-189-29 ॥

[वै] शरुत्वा तु वचनं तस्य पाण्डवस्य महात्मनः परहृष्टाः पाण्डवा राजन सहिताः शार्ङ्गधन्वना ॥ ३-१८९-३० ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, "Having heard the wise words of Markandeya, the sons of Pandu, O king, together with the wielder of the Saranga bow, ."' ॥ 3-189-30 ॥
