नैके युगसहस्रान्तास तवया दृष्टा महामुने न चापीह समः कश चिद आयुषा तव विद्यते वर्जयित्वा महात्मानं बराह्मणं परमेष्ठिनम ॥ ३-१८६-२ ॥

'O great Muni, thou hast witnessed the passage of countless thousands of ages. In this world, there is none as long-lived as thou! O best of those who have attained knowledge of the Supreme Spirit, none equals thee in years, save the great-minded Brahma, the Eternal, residing in the highest realm.' ॥ 3-186-2 ॥

english translation

naike yugasahasrAntAsa tavayA dRSTA mahAmune na cApIha samaH kaza cida AyuSA tava vidyate varjayitvA mahAtmAnaM barAhmaNaM parameSThinama ॥ 3-186-2 ॥
