तत्र तं पराक्षिपच चापि मनुः परपुरंजय अथावर्धत मत्स्यः स पुनर वर्षगणान बहून ॥ ३-१८५-१६ ॥

sanskrit

'Thus asked, the righteous, self-controlled, and venerable Manu took the fish to the sacred river Ganga and, with his own hands, placed it in the waters. There, O conqueror of your enemies, the fish grew once more for a while.' ।। 3-185-16 ।।

english translation

tatra taM parAkSipaca cApi manuH parapuraMjaya athAvardhata matsyaH sa punara varSagaNAna bahUna ॥ 3-185-16 ॥
