[सर्प] बुद्धिर आत्मानुगा तात उत्पातेन विधीयते तद आश्रिता हि संज्ञैषा विधिस तस्यैषणे भवेत ॥ ३-१७८-२५ ॥
'The snake replied, "Through illusion, the soul becomes subordinate to the intellect. Although the intellect is ultimately governed by the soul, it temporarily takes on the role of directing the soul."' ॥ 3-178-25 ॥
