मनसा तात पर्येति करमशॊ विषयान इमान विषयायतनस्थेन भूतात्मा कषेत्रनिःसृतः ।। ३-१७८-२० ।।

sanskrit

'O my son, the eternal spirit, leaving its own sphere and, aided by the mind, acts through the senses—those receptacles of all perceptions—and thereby perceives things such as sound, form, flavor, and so on.' ।। 3-178-20 ।।

english translation

manasA tAta paryeti karamazò viSayAna imAna viSayAyatanasthena bhUtAtmA kaSetraniHsRtaH || 3-178-20 ||
