अहं तु शरवर्षैस तान अस्त्रप्रमुदितै रणे नाशक्नुवं पीडयितुं ते तु मां पर्यपीडयन ॥ ३-१७०-३६ ॥

sanskrit

'But I, with showers of arrows and delighting in (using) divine weapons in battle, was unable to afflict them, while they, on the other hand, greatly tormented me.' ।। 3-170-36 ।।

english translation

ahaM tu zaravarSaisa tAna astrapramuditai raNe nAzaknuvaM pIDayituM te tu mAM paryapIDayana ॥ 3-170-36 ॥
