सुराणाम असुराणां च संग्रामः सुमहान अभूत अमृतार्थे पुरा पार्थ स च दृष्टॊ मयानघ ।। ३-१६८-१७ ।।

sanskrit

'O Partha, a mighty conflict had taken place between the gods and the demons for the sake of the nectar of immortality. I, O sinless one, was a witness to that encounter.' ।। 3-168-17 ।।

english translation

surANAma asurANAM ca saMgrAmaH sumahAna abhUta amRtArthe purA pArtha sa ca dRSTò mayAnagha || 3-168-17 ||
