तत्र गाण्डीवधन्वानम अवाप्तास्त्रम अरिंदमम देवलॊकाद इमं लॊकं दरक्ष्यामः पुनरागतम ॥ ३-१५५-६ ॥
'In a place resembling the abode of the gods, we shall behold the wielder of Gandiva, who will return after acquiring the divine weapons.' ॥ 3-155-6 ॥
english translation
इत्य उक्त्वा बराह्मणान सर्वान आमन्त्रयत पाण्डवः कारणं चैव तत तेषाम आचचक्षे तपस्विनाम ॥ ३-१५५-७ ॥
'Having spoken thus, the Pandava summoned the Brahmanas. The sons of Pritha, after respectfully circumambulating the ascetics who practiced rigorous austerities and earning their favor, informed them of the matter at hand.' ॥ 3-155-7 ॥

तम उग्रतपसः परीताः कृत्वा पार्थं परदक्षिणम बराह्मणास ते ऽनवमॊदन्त शिवेन कुशलेन च ॥ ३-१५५-८ ॥
'Thereupon, the Brahmanas gave their approval, saying, 'This will bring prosperity and well-being.'' ॥ 3-155-8 ॥

सुखॊदर्कम इमं कलेशम अचिराद भरतर्षभ कषत्रधर्मेण धर्मज्ञ तीर्त्वा गां पालयिष्यसि ॥ ३-१५५-९ ॥
'O foremost of the Bharatas, these trials will lead to happiness. O pious one, by the virtue of a Kshatriya, you shall gain the earth and govern it.' ॥ 3-155-9 ॥

तत तु राजा वचस तेषां परतिगृह्य तपस्विनाम परतस्थे सह विप्रैस तैर भरातृभिश च परंतपः ॥ ३-१५५-१० ॥
'Thus, in accordance with the words of the ascetics, Yudhishthira, the vanquisher of foes, set out with his brothers and the Brahmanas.' ॥ 3-155-10 ॥
