तयॊर आसीत संप्रहारः करुद्धयॊर भीम रक्षसॊः अमृष्यमाणयॊः संख्ये देवदानवयॊर इव ॥ ३-१५४-४६ ॥
'Refusing to forgive each other, a fierce conflict arose between the enraged Bhima and the Rakshasa, resembling the battle between a god and a demon.' ॥ 3-154-46 ॥
english translation
tayòra AsIta saMprahAraH karuddhayòra bhIma rakSasòH amRSyamANayòH saMkhye devadAnavayòra iva ॥ 3-154-46 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआरुज्यारुज्य तौ वृक्षान अन्यॊन्यम अभिजघ्नतुः जीमूताव इव घर्मान्ते विनदन्तौ महाबलौ ॥ ३-१५४-४७ ॥
'Repeatedly uprooting trees, the two mighty warriors struck each other, shouting and roaring like two massive clouds.' ॥ 3-154-47 ॥

ArujyArujya tau vRkSAna anyònyama abhijaghnatuH jImUtAva iva gharmAnte vinadantau mahAbalau ॥ 3-154-47 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबभज्ञतुर महावृक्षान ऊरुभिर बलिनां वरौ अन्यॊन्येनाभिसंरब्धौ परस्परजयैषिणौ ॥ ३-१५४-४८ ॥
'Those foremost of warriors, each eager to kill the other, rushed at each other with great fury, uprooting numerous gigantic trees with their thighs.' ॥ 3-154-48 ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptतद वृक्षयुद्धम अभवन महीरुह विनाशनम वालिसुग्रीवयॊर भरात्रॊः पुरेव कपिसिंहयॊः ॥ ३-१५४-४९ ॥
'That tree battle became a destruction of great trees, just as earlier between the brothers Vali and Sugriva, the monkey-lions.' ॥ 3-154-49 ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptआविद्याविध्य तौ वृक्षान मुहूर्तम इतरेतरम ताडयाम आसतुर उभौ विनदन्तौ मुहुर मुहुः ॥ ३-१५४-५० ॥
'For a moment, they brandished the trees and struck each other with them, shouting relentlessly.' ॥ 3-154-50 ॥
