दरॊग्धव्यं न च मित्रेषु न विश्वस्तेषु कर्हि चित येषां चान्नानि भुञ्जीत यत्र च सयात परतिश्रयः ।। ३-१५४-१३ ।।

sanskrit

'We live on the fruits of sacrifice, serving the gods and others to the best of our ability. We are never intent on humbling ourselves before superiors or Brahmanas. A friend, one who has placed trust in you, he whose food you have partaken, and one who has offered you shelter—none of these should ever be harmed.' ।। 3-154-13 ।।

english translation

darògdhavyaM na ca mitreSu na vizvasteSu karhi cita yeSAM cAnnAni bhuJjIta yatra ca sayAta paratizrayaH || 3-154-13 ||
