साम्ना दानेन भेदेन दन्देनॊपेक्षणेन च साधनीयानि कार्याणि समास वयास यॊगतः ॥ ३-१४९-४२ ॥

'Through conciliation (persuasion), giving (gifts), creating division, and punishment or force, tasks/objectives should be accomplished, through summary and detailed approaches.' ।। 3-149-42 ।।
