ततॊ यज्ञाः परवर्तन्ते धर्माश च विविधाः करियाः तरेतायां भावसंकल्पाः करिया दानफलॊदयाः ॥ ३-१४८-२४ ॥
'It is then that sacrifices and various religious observances come into being. People begin to seek means for attaining their goals, achieving them through acts and offerings, while never deviating from the path of virtue.' ॥ 3-148-24 ॥
