दृष्टा सा च मया देवी रावणस्य निवेशने परत्यागतश चापि पुनर नाम तत्र परकाश्य वै ।। ३-१४७-३५ ।।

sanskrit

'And, O chief of the Bharatas, having crossed that ocean, the dwelling place of sharks and crocodiles, by my own power, I beheld in Ravana's abode the daughter of King Janaka, Sita, resembling a celestial maiden' ।। 3-147-35 ।।

english translation

dRSTA sA ca mayA devI rAvaNasya nivezane paratyAgataza cApi punara nAma tatra parakAzya vai || 3-147-35 ||
