सुकुमारौ कथं पादौ मुखं च कमलप्रभम मत्कृते ऽदय वरार्हायाः शयामतां समुपागतम ॥ ३-१४४-११ ॥
'Alas! Because of me alone, her delicate feet and lotus-like face, so deserving of all that is excellent, have turned dark and lost their radiance.' ॥ 3-144-11 ॥
