अनेकरूपसंस्थाना नानाप्रहरणाश च ते यक्षेन्द्रं मनुजश्रेष्ठ माणिभद्रम उपासते ॥ ३-१४०-६ ॥

'O best among men, they worship Manibhadra, the lord of Yakshas, who has many forms and appearances and carries various weapons.' ॥ 3-140-6 ॥

anekarUpasaMsthAnA nAnApraharaNAza ca te yakSendraM manujazreSTha mANibhadrama upAsate ॥ 3-140-6 ॥

तेषाम ऋद्धिर अतीवाग्र्यागतौ वायुसमाश च ते सथानात परच्यावयेयुर ये देवराजम अपि धरुवम ॥ ३-१४०-७ ॥

'In these regions, their power is immense, and in swiftness, they are like the wind. Without a doubt, they could displace even the lord of the celestials from his throne.' ॥ 3-140-7 ॥

teSAma Rddhira atIvAgryAgatau vAyusamAza ca te sathAnAta paracyAvayeyura ye devarAjama api dharuvama ॥ 3-140-7 ॥

तैस तात बलिभिर गुप्ता यातुधानैश च रक्षिताः दुर गमाः पर्वताः पार्थ समाधिं परमं कुरु ॥ ३-१४०-८ ॥

'Protected by them and guarded by the Rakshasas, these mountains have become impenetrable. Therefore, O son of Pritha, focus your mind.' ॥ 3-140-8 ॥

taisa tAta balibhira guptA yAtudhAnaiza ca rakSitAH dura gamAH parvatAH pArtha samAdhiM paramaM kuru ॥ 3-140-8 ॥

कुबेर सचिवाश चान्ये रौद्रा मैत्राश च राक्षसाः तैः समेष्याम कौन्तेय यत्तॊ विक्रमणे भव ॥ ३-१४०-९ ॥

'Besides these, O son of Kunti, there are fierce ministers of Kuvera and his Rakshasa kin. We shall have to face them, so, O son of Kunti, gather your strength.' ॥ 3-140-9 ॥

kubera sacivAza cAnye raudrA maitrAza ca rAkSasAH taiH sameSyAma kaunteya yattò vikramaNe bhava ॥ 3-140-9 ॥

'O King (Rajan), O Bharata, Mount Kailash extends for hundreds of yojanas, where the gods gather, and where there are vast spaces.' ॥ 3-140-10 ॥
