तस्मै परादाद वरान इन्द्र उक्तवान यान महातपः परतिभास्यन्ति ते वेदाः पित्रा सह यथेप्सिताः ॥ ३-१३५-४१ ॥

sanskrit

'Then Indra, pleased with the mighty ascetic's prayers, granted the boons. He said, 'As you have desired, the Vedas will be revealed to you, and also to your father.' ॥ 3-135-41 ॥

english translation

tasmai parAdAda varAna indra uktavAna yAna mahAtapaH paratibhAsyanti te vedAH pitrA saha yathepsitAH ॥ 3-135-41 ॥
