विप्राः समुद्राम्भसि मज्जितास ते; वाचा जिता मेधया आविदानाः तां मेधया वाचम अथॊज्जहार; यथा वाचम अवचिन्वन्ति सन्तः ।। ३-१३४-२६ ।।

sanskrit

'Ashtavakra declared, "Through cunning words and deceit, Vandin had consigned the Brahmanas to the depths of the sea. Today, with the sharpness of my intellect, I have reclaimed the Vedic truths he suppressed with false arguments. Let impartial men now pass their judgment."' ।। 3-134-26 ।।

english translation

viprAH samudrAmbhasi majjitAsa te; vAcA jitA medhayA AvidAnAH tAM medhayA vAcama athòjjahAra; yathA vAcama avacinvanti santaH || 3-134-26 ||
