[र] षण्णाभेर दवादशाक्षस्य चतुर्विंशतिपर्वणः यस तरिषष्टि शतारस्य वेदार्थं स परः कविः ॥ ३-१३३-२१ ॥
'The king said, "He alone is truly learned who understands the meaning of that which has thirty divisions, twelve parts, twenty-four joints, and three hundred sixty spokes."' ॥ 3-133-21 ॥
english translation
[अस्ट] चतुर्विंशतिपर्व तवां षण णाभि दवादश परधि तत तरिषष्टि शतारं वै चक्रं पातु सदागति ॥ ३-१३३-२२ ॥
'Ashtavakra replied, "May that ever-turning wheel, with twenty-four joints, six naves, twelve peripheries, and sixty spokes, protect you!"' ॥ 3-133-22 ॥
english translation
[र] वडवे इव संयुक्ते शयेनपाते दिवौकसाम कस तयॊर गर्भम आधत्ते गर्भं सुषुवतुश च कम ॥ ३-१३३-२३ ॥
'Like two mares joined together at the swooping down of the celestial beings (gods), Who places the embryo in them, and what embryo do they give birth to?' ॥ 3-133-23 ॥
english translation
मा सम ते ते गृहे राजञ शात्रवाणाम अपि धरुवम वातसारथिर आधत्ते गर्भं सुषुवतुश च तम ॥ ३-१३३-२४ ॥
'Ashtavakra said, "May God, O king, protect thy house from the presence of these two, and even the house of thine enemies. The one who rides the wind as his charioteer begetteth them, and they in turn give birth to him."' ॥ 3-133-24 ॥
english translation
किं सवित सुप्तं न निमिषति किं सविज जातं न चॊपति कस्य सविद धृदयं नास्ति किं सविद वेगेन वर्धते ॥ ३-१३३-२५ ॥
'The king then asked, "What is it that does not close its eyes, even while sleeping? What is it that does not move, even when it is born? What is it that has no heart? And what is it that increases even in its own speed?"' ॥ 3-133-25 ॥
