तम आर्तनादं सहसा शुश्राव स महीपतिः अमात्यपरिषन मध्ये उपविष्टः सहर्त्विजैः ॥ ३-१२७-८ ॥

'The sound of the child’s scream reached the ears of the sovereign of the earth, who was seated among his ministers, with the family priest by his side.' ॥ 3-127-8 ॥

english translation

tama ArtanAdaM sahasA zuzrAva sa mahIpatiH amAtyapariSana madhye upaviSTaH sahartvijaiH ॥ 3-127-8 ॥
