तस्यैतद देवयजनं सथानम आदित्यवर्चसः पश्य पुण्यतमे देशे कुरुक्षेत्रस्य मध्यतः ।। ३-१२६-४२ ।।

sanskrit

'This is the very spot where he, resplendent like the sun, performed sacrifices to the divine. Behold! Here, in the heart of the Kuru field, lies the sacred land, the holiest of all.' ।। 3-126-42 ।।

english translation

tasyaitada devayajanaM sathAnama AdityavarcasaH pazya puNyatame deze kurukSetrasya madhyataH || 3-126-42 ||
