तवं हय एव कॊपात पृथिवीम अपीमां; संवेष्टयेस तिष्ठतु शार्ङ्गधन्वा स धार्तराष्ट्रं जहि सानुबन्धं; वृत्रं यथा देवपतिर महेन्द्रः ॥ ३-१२०-६ ॥

'You alone, O wielder of the horn-bow, if roused, could encircle the entire earth. I implore you to destroy Dhritarashtra’s son and his forces, as the great Indra, lord of the gods, vanquished Vritra.' ॥ 3-120-6 ॥

english translation

tavaM haya eva kòpAta pRthivIma apImAM; saMveSTayesa tiSThatu zArGgadhanvA sa dhArtarASTraM jahi sAnubandhaM; vRtraM yathA devapatira mahendraH ॥ 3-120-6 ॥
