तस्य नादेन संत्रस्ताः पक्षिणः सर्वतॊदिशम विमुक्तनादाः संपेतुः सथलजा जलजैः सह ।। ३-१२-१० ।।

sanskrit

'Uttering terrifying howls and roaring like a thunderous raincloud, the fiend began to unleash the illusion inherent to his kind. Hearing that dreadful roar, birds, along with other land and water creatures, began to fall from the sky, crying out in terror.' ।। 3-12-10 ।।

english translation

tasya nAdena saMtrastAH pakSiNaH sarvatòdizama vimuktanAdAH saMpetuH sathalajA jalajaiH saha || 3-12-10 ||
