तत्रापि चाप्लुत्य महानुभावः; संतर्पयाम आस पितॄन सुरांश च दविजातिमुख्येषु धनं विसृज्य; गॊदावरिं सागरगाम अगच्छत ।। ३-११८-३ ।।

sanskrit

'There, the magnanimous king took his plunge, offering libations to his forefathers and the gods, and distributed wealth to the leaders of the twice-born class. Afterward, he journeyed to the Godavari, a sacred river that flows directly into the sea.' ।। 3-118-3 ।।

english translation

tatrApi cAplutya mahAnubhAvaH; saMtarpayAma Asa pitRRna surAMza ca davijAtimukhyeSu dhanaM visRjya; gòdAvariM sAgaragAma agacchata || 3-118-3 ||
