जहीमां मातरं पापां मा च पुत्र वयथां कृथाः तत आदाय परशुं रामॊ मातुः शिरॊ ऽहरत ।। ३-११६-१४ ।।

sanskrit

'‘Kill this wicked mother of yours without hesitation, O my son.’ With these words, Rama swiftly took up an axe and severed his mother’s head.' ।। 3-116-14 ।।

english translation

jahImAM mAtaraM pApAM mA ca putra vayathAM kRthAH tata AdAya parazuM rAmò mAtuH zirò 'harata || 3-116-14 ||
