[व] स तत्र ताम उषित्वैकां रजनीं पृथिवीपतिः तापसानां परं चक्रे सत्कारं भरातृभिः सह ॥ ३-११५-१ ॥

sanskrit

'Vaisampayana said, "The protector of the earth spent a solitary night there and, together with his brothers, rendered the utmost honors to the holy ascetics."' ॥ 3-115-1 ॥

english translation

[va] sa tatra tAma uSitvaikAM rajanIM pRthivIpatiH tApasAnAM paraM cakre satkAraM bharAtRbhiH saha ॥ 3-115-1 ॥
