अत्रैव रुद्रॊ राजेन्द्र पशुम आदत्तवान मखे रुद्रः पशुं मानवेन्द्र भागॊ ऽयम इति चाब्रवीत ॥ ३-११४-७ ॥
'And it was precisely at this spot that the god Rudra, O king of kings, took possession of the sacrificial beast and proclaimed, 'This is my rightful portion!'' ॥ 3-114-7 ॥
