अन्तःपुरे तं तु निवेश्य राजा; विभाण्डकस्यात्म जम एकपुत्रम ददर्श देवं सहसा परविष्टम; आपूर्यमाणं च जगज जलेन ॥ ३-११३-१० ॥

sanskrit

'However, the king kept the only son of Vibhandaka in the women’s quarters of the palace when, all of a sudden, he saw rain pouring from the heavens, and the world began to flood with water.' ॥ 3-113-10 ॥

english translation

antaHpure taM tu nivezya rAjA; vibhANDakasyAtma jama ekaputrama dadarza devaM sahasA paraviSTama; ApUryamANaM ca jagaja jalena ॥ 3-113-10 ॥
