अभिषिच्य तु तं राज्ये दिलीपॊ वनम आश्रितः तपःसिद्धिसमायॊगात स राजा भरतर्षभ वनाज जगाम तरिदिवं कालयॊगेन भारत ॥ ३-१०६-४० ॥
'And Dilipa appointed him as king before retreating into the forest. O best of all the descendants of Bharata! That same king devoted himself to a fruitful course of austerities, and after a period of fulfillment, he departed from the forest to the heavenly realms.' ॥ 3-106-40 ॥
