'Each morning, the people beheld the lifeless bodies of the emaciated Munis, victims of their austere diets, strewn across the ground.' ।। 3-100-8 ।।

parabhAte samadRzyanta niyatAhAra karzitAH mahItalasthA munayaH zarIraira gatajIvitaiH || 3-100-8 ||
