अवध्यः सर्वभूतानां बलिश चापि महासुरः वामनं वपुर आश्रित्य तरैलॊक्याद भरंशितस तवया ॥ ३-१००-२१ ॥
'And that other great Asura, known as Vali, who was invincible to all, was exiled from the three worlds by you, who took on the form of a dwarf.' ॥ 3-100-21 ॥
english translation
असुरश च महेष्वासॊ जम्भ इत्य अभिविश्रुतः यज्ञक्षॊभकरः करूरस तवयैव विनिपातितः ॥ ३-१००-२२ ॥
'O Lord, it was by your hand that the wicked Asura, known as Jambha, a powerful archer who continually obstructed sacrifices, was defeated.' ॥ 3-100-22 ॥
english translation
एवमादीनि कर्माणि येषां संख्या न विद्यते अस्माकं भयभीतानां तवं गतिर मधुसूदन ॥ ३-१००-२३ ॥
'Such uncountable achievements belong to you, O slayer of Madhu. We, who are beset by fear, seek refuge in you.' ॥ 3-100-23 ॥
english translation
तस्मात तवां देवदेवेश लॊकार्थं जञापयामहे रक्ष लॊकांश च देवांश च शक्रं च महतॊ भयात ॥ ३-१००-२४ ॥
'It is for this reason, O god of gods, that we present our troubles to you. Protect the worlds, the gods, and Sakra from this overwhelming terror.' ॥ 3-100-24 ॥
