[वय] वैचित्र वीर्यनृपते सत्यम आह यथा भवान दृढं वेद्मि परं पुत्रं परं पुत्रान न विद्यते ।। ३-१०-४ ।।

sanskrit

'Vyasa said, "O king, son of Vichitravirya, what you say is indeed true. We all understand that a son is the greatest of all possessions and that nothing surpasses the worth of a son."' ।। 3-10-4 ।।

english translation

[vaya] vaicitra vIryanRpate satyama Aha yathA bhavAna dRDhaM vedmi paraM putraM paraM putrAna na vidyate || 3-10-4 ||
