वानराणाम् सास्रैस्तु हनुमान् बहुभिर्वऋतः । विभीषणश्च सामात्यो तदा लक्ष्मणमन्वगात् ॥ ६-८५-३१
Then Hanuman surrounded by many thousands of Vanaras, Vibheeshana and ministers followed Lakshmana. [6-85-31]
english translation
महता हरिसैन्येन सवेगमभिसंवृतः । ऋक्षराजबलं चैव ददर्श पथि विष्ठितम् ॥ ६-८५-३२
Lakshmana also saw Jambavan standing on the way, with a huge Vanara army surrounded while going speedily. [6-85-32]

स गत्वा दूरमध्वानं सौमित्रिर्मित्रनन्दनः । राक्षसेन्द्रबलं दूरादपश्यद्व्यूहमाश्रितम् ॥ ६-८५-३३
Lakshmana, the delight of friends, witnessed from a distance the Rakshasa army arranged in battle-array. [6-85-33]

स तं प्राप्य धनुष्पाणिर्मायायोगमरिंदमः । तस्थौ ब्रह्मविधानेन विजेतुं रघुनन्दनः ॥ ६-८५-३४
The tamer of enemies and delight of the Raghu race, Lakshmana stood wielding bow in hand ready to win the conjurer conferred with boon by the creator Brahma. [6-85-34]

विभीषणेन सहितो राजपुत्रः प्रतापवान् । अङ्गदेन च वीरेण तथानिलसुतेन च ॥ ६-८५-३५
Accompanied by Vibheeshana, and also hero Angada, so also the son of Wind god, Hanuman, Lakshmana stood together. [6-85-35]
