हस्त्यध्यक्षैर्गजैर्मुक्तेर्मुक्सैश्चैवतुरङ्गमैः । बभूवलङ्कालोकान्तेभ्रान्तग्राहइवार्णवः ॥ ६-७५-२८

With their elephants let loose by the superintendents of the elephants and horses too set free, Lanka was like an ocean, with roaming alligators in it at the end of a world-cycle. ॥ 6-75-28॥
