अतिकायंहतंश्रुत्वालक्ष्मणेनमहौजसा । उद्वेगमगमद्राजावचनंचेदमब्रवीत् ॥ ६-७१-१

On hearing that Atikaya was killed by highly energetic Lakshmana, the king was overtaken by emotion and spoke as follows. [6-71-1]

english translation

धूम्राक्षःपरमामर्षीधन्वीशस्त्रभृतांवरः । अकम्पनःप्रहस्तश्चकुम्भुकर्णस्तथैव च ॥ ६-७१-२

“Dhumraksha, who is full of ardour and the most skilled in the use of arms, Akampana, Prahasta, and Kumbhakarna - [6-71-2]

english translation

एतेमहाबलावीराराक्षसायुद्धकाङ्क्षिणः । जेतारःपरसैन्यानांपरैर्नित्यापराजिताः ॥ ६-७१-३

- those valiant Rakshasas warriors eager for combat, the destroyers of hostile forces, ever invincible - [6-71-3]

english translation

निहतास्तेमहावीर्यारामेणाक्लिष्टकर्मणा । राक्षसास्सुमहाकायानानाशस्त्रविशारदाः ॥ ६-७१-४

- brave Rakshasas of immense stature who were versed in the use of every weapon, have fallen with their troops under the blows of Rama of imperishable exploits. [6-71-4]

english translation

अन्ये च बहवश्शूरामहात्मानोनिपातिताः । प्रख्यातबलवीर्येणपुत्रेणेन्द्रजितामम ॥ ६-७१-५

''And many other warriors have been killed by great Rama. Indrajit, my son, whose strength and prowess are renowned - [6-71-5]
