तावुत्थाप्यमहातेजागरुडोवासवोपमौ । उभौतौसस्वजेहृष्टोरामश्चैनमुवाचह ॥ ६-५०-४१

Lifting them up both who were like Indra, the highly majestic Garuda the eagle embraced them. Rama also, being pleased, spoke to him (as follows). [6-50-41]

भवत्प्रसादाद् व्यसनंरावणिप्रभवंमहत् । आवामिहव्यतिक्रान्तौपूर्ववद् बलिनौकृतौ ॥ ६-५०-४२

"By your kindness, we have overcome this calamity caused by Ravana's son and regained our strength as before. [6-50-42]

english translation

यथातातंदशरथंयथाऽजंचपितामहम् । तथाभवन्तमासाद्यहृदयंमेप्रसीदति ॥ ६-५०-४३

"For me to meet you is like meeting my father Dasaratha and grandfather, Aja. My heart rejoices. [6-50-43]

english translation

कोभवान्रूपसम्पन्नोदिव्यस्रगनुलेपनः । वसानोविरजेवस्त्रदिव्याभरणभूषितः ॥ ६-५०-४४

"Who are you, richly endowed with charming appearance, smeared with unguents adored in dust free garments, wearing divine ornaments?" [6-50-44]

english translation

तमुवाचमहातेजावैनतेयोमहाबलः । पतत्त्रिराजःप्रीतात्माहर्षपर्याकुलेक्षणः ॥ ६-५०-४५

The highly majestic and the mighty Garuda the eagle, the King of Birds, with his eys widened in gladness and with a pleased heart, spoke to Rama as follows. [6-50-45]
