तांसुरैरपिदुर्धर्षांरामवाक्यप्रचोदिताः । यथानिदेशंसम्पीड्यन्यविशन्तवनौकसः ॥ ६-४१-३२

Then they (those denizens of the forests), encouraged by the sound of Rama’s voice and obedient to his commands, halted before Lanka, which was impregnable, even to the Gods. ॥ 6-41-32॥
