ततोमथ्यात्समुद्रस्यसागरस्स्वयमुत्थितः । उदयन् हिमहाशैलान्मेरोरिवदिवाकरः ॥ ६-२२-१६

Then Sagara, the Lord of the ocean himself rising like the Sun over the mighty Meru Mountain rose from the middle of the ocean. ॥ 6-22-17॥

english translation

tatomathyAtsamudrasyasAgarassvayamutthitaH । udayan himahAzailAnmerorivadivAkaraH ॥ 6-22-16
