तस्मिन्प्रतिहतेऽस्त्रेतुरावणोराक्षसाधिपः । क्रोधं च द्विगुणंचक्रेक्रोधाच्चास्त्रमनन्तरम् ॥ ६-१०१-१
Missile being counteracted, Ravana, the king of Rakshasas, doubled his fury and in his anger, began to employ another missile immediately. [6-101-1]

मयेनविहितंरौद्रमन्यदस्त्रंमहाद्युतिः । उत्सृष्टुंरावणोभीमंराघवायप्रचक्रमे ॥ ६-१०१-२
Highly effulgent Ravana used another terrific missile on Raghava, presided over by Rudra, produced by Maya. [6-101-2]

ततःशूलानिनिश्चेरुर्गदाश्चमुसलानि च । कार्मुकाद्दीप्यमानानिवज्रसाराणिसर्वशः ॥ ६-१०१-३
Then from his bow issued forth all over flaming tridents, maces, and iron bars like thunderbolt. [6-101-3]

मुद्गराःकूटपाशाश्चदीप्ताश्चाशनयस्तथा । निष्पेतुर्विविधास्तीक्ष्णावाताइवयुगक्षये ॥ ६-१०१-४
Various kinds of furious mallets, deceptive nooses and blazing thunderbolts came forth, like piercing gales at the time of the destruction of the world. [6-101-4]

तदस्त्रंराघव्श्रीमानुत्तमास्त्रविदांवरः । जघानपरमास्त्रणगान्धर्वेणमहाद्युतिः ॥ ६-१०१-५
Glorious Raghava, who is the best of those proficient in the use of missiles endowed with great splendour, neutralized that missile (of Ravana) with the missile presided over by Gandharvas. [6-101-5]
