सरॊ गय शिरॊ यत्र पुण्या चैव महानदी ऋषिजुष्टं सुपुण्यं तत तीर्थं बरह्मसरॊत्तमम ॥ ३-९३-१० ॥

'In that region lies the hill known as Gayasira, alongside the charming river Mahanadi, its banks adorned with clusters of cane. Upon that celestial hill, revered for its holy peaks, is a sacred tirtha called Brahmasara, greatly cherished by ascetics.' ॥ 3-93-10 ॥

sarò gaya zirò yatra puNyA caiva mahAnadI RSijuSTaM supuNyaM tata tIrthaM barahmasaròttamama ॥ 3-93-10 ॥
