वचनात पुरुहूतस्य पार्थस्य च महात्मनः आख्यास्ये ते परियं तात महत पाण्डवनन्दन ।। ३-८९-८ ।।

sanskrit

'At the behest of the illustrious Puruhuta and the great-souled Partha, I shall recount to you, dear one, the cherished tale, O son of Pandu.' ।। 3-89-8 ।।

english translation

vacanAta puruhUtasya pArthasya ca mahAtmanaH AkhyAsye te pariyaM tAta mahata pANDavanandana || 3-89-8 ||
