तत पुण्यं तत्परं बरह्म तत तीर्थं तत तपॊवनम तत्र देवर्षयः सिद्धाः सर्वे चैव तपॊधनाः ।। ३-८८-२६ ।।

sanskrit

'For he is Merit, the Supreme Brahman, the tirtha, the ascetic retreat, the First, the foremost among the gods, and the great Lord of all beings.' ।। 3-88-26 ।।

english translation

tata puNyaM tatparaM barahma tata tIrthaM tata tapòvanama tatra devarSayaH siddhAH sarve caiva tapòdhanAH || 3-88-26 ||

'In that place reside the celestial Rishis, the Siddhas, and all the sages, where dwells the slayer of Madhu, the primeval Deity and mighty Yogi!' ।। 3-88-27 ।।

'Let there be no doubt in your heart that this place is the foremost of all holy sites. These are the tirthas and sacred spots on earth that I have recited, O noble one!' ।। 3-88-28 ।।
