वेण्णायाः संगमे सनात्वा वाजपेयफलं लभेत वरदा संगमे सनात्वा गॊसहस्रफलं लभेत ॥ ३-८३-३१ ॥

sanskrit

'By bathing at the confluence of the Vena, one attains the merit of the Vajapeya sacrifice. Likewise, by dipping at the confluence of the Varada, one acquires the merit of donating a thousand kine.' ॥ 3-83-31 ॥

english translation

veNNAyAH saMgame sanAtvA vAjapeyaphalaM labheta varadA saMgame sanAtvA gòsahasraphalaM labheta ॥ 3-83-31 ॥
