ततॊ बदरिका तीर्थे सनात्वा परयत मानसः दीर्घम आयुर अवाप्नॊति सवर्गलॊकं च गच्छति ॥ ३-८३-१३ ॥
'Then, O foremost of the Bharata race, by bathing at the sacred tirtha of Badarika, one attains long life and ascends to the heavenly realms.' ॥ 3-83-13 ॥
