कपिलानां सहस्रं च वाजिमेधं च विन्दति तत्र सनात्वा नरव्याघ्र दृष्टम एतत पुरातने ॥ ३-८२-८ ॥
'As stated in the Puranas, O tiger among men, bathing there grants a man the merit of donating a thousand Kapila cows and the merit of the horse sacrifice.' ॥ 3-82-8 ॥
