गङ्गॊद्भेदं समासाद्य तरिरात्रॊपॊषितॊ नरः वाजपेयम अवाप्नॊति बरह्मभूतश च जायते ॥ ३-८२-५८ ॥
'By traveling to Gangodbheda and fasting there for three nights, a man attains the merit of the Vajapeya sacrifice and becomes akin to Brahma himself.' ॥ 3-82-58 ॥
